This Privacy Policy explains how EventOne Coverage (“Event Day Coverage,” “Race Day Coverage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Race Day Coverage Program offered through participating event organizers and registration platforms.

1. ScopeThis Privacy Policy applies to information collected, received, or processed by Race Day Coverage in connection with the Race Day Coverage Program. Event organizers, registration providers, and insurance carriers may maintain separate privacy policies governing their own collection and use of information. 

2. Information We CollectWhen you are offered Race Day Coverage during event registration, we may receive the following information from your event organizer or registration platform:

• Identifyinginformation: name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and date of birth. 
• Event information: event name, event date, and registration confirmation details. 

Participation involving minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian in accordance with the event organizer’s registration requirements.

3. How We Use InformationWe use information for the following purposes:

• To verify participant eligibility and facilitate the creation and delivery of insurance enrollment or activation links. 
• To transmit required participant information to the insurance carrier for policy issuance, claims administration, and related insurance operations. 
• To respond to inquiries and provide customer service. 
• To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, and insurance requirements. 
• To maintain the security, integrity, and operation of the Race Day Coverage Program. 

Insurance coverage is not effective unless and until the participant completes any required enrollment steps and coverage is issued pursuant to the applicable policy terms and conditions.

4. How We Share InformationWe share information only as reasonably necessary to operate and administer the Race Day Coverage Program, including:

• With insurance carriers and related insurance technology providers (Sure, Mutual of Omaha) for purposes of policy issuance, claims administration, and related insurance operations. 
• With service providers, technology vendors, communication providers, and      contractors that assist in operating the program and are contractually      obligated to protect personal information. 
• As required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process. 
• In connection with the protection of rights, fraud prevention, security, or      enforcement of agreements. 

We do not sell personal information. Participant information is not sold as part of the Race Day Coverage Program.We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

5. CommunicationsWe may send transactional emails or text messages related to coverage activation, customer support, or program administration. Message and data rates may apply.Participants may manage optional communication preferences where applicable; however, certain operational or transactional communications related to coverage activation, customer support, claims managed by the Insurance provider, or program administration may still be required in connection with the Program.

6. Your Choices and RightsParticipation in Race Day Coverage is voluntary. Participants may choose whether to activate or enroll in available coverage offerings associated with an eligible event registration.Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain uses of your information, and the right to opt out of certain processing activities. To exercise applicable rights, contact us at events@eventdaycoverage.com.  We will respond consistent with applicable law.California ResidentsCalifornia residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”), including:

• The right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used. 
• The right to request deletion of personal information. 
• The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information. 
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

7. Data RetentionWe retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the program, process claims, comply with legal, accounting, insurance, and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements.

8. SecurityWe use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. ChildrenThe Race Day Coverage Program is offered through event organizers. Any registration or participation involving minors must be completed by a parent or legal guardian in accordance with the event organizer’s registration requirements.

10. Changes to This PolicyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When updates are made, we will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated version of this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
